Run 3

In Run 3 the floor is wherever you decide it is. You guide a little alien through crumbling cylindrical tunnels floating in space, and stepping onto a wall rotates the whole tunnel so that wall becomes your new ground. Gaps, breaking tiles and dead ends turn every tunnel into a small spatial puzzle as much as a running game.

Two Ways to Play

Explore Mode

This is the story side of Run 3, with more than 300 levels arranged as a galactic map. Many levels have several routes to the same exit, and hidden tunnels you discover get added to the map so you can come back later. As you progress you meet new characters and unlock cutscenes that explain why planets are disappearing.

Infinite Mode

A randomly generated tunnel that keeps getting harder. The only goal is to last as long as possible without falling into space, and your best distance goes on the leaderboard.

Keys

• Arrow keys or W / A / D – move left and right, jump
• Space – jump
• R – restart the level
• P or Esc – pause

Pick the Right Character

Run 3 has ten unlockable characters, and they really do play differently. The Runner is balanced and dependable. The Skater is very fast but jumps lower and turns less sharply. The Lizard is slow but jumps very high and steers well. The Bunny is the fastest runner and highest jumper but never stops bouncing, which makes it tricky to control. The Gentleman can pull himself toward power cells with his electromagnet. Try a few, because a level that feels impossible with one may be easy with another.

Tips for Long Runs

• When a gap opens ahead, look at the walls: side-stepping onto one is often safer than a long jump.
• Crumbling tiles fall soon after you touch them, so keep moving across them.
• In Infinite Mode, stay near the centre of your current floor so you have room to dodge either way.
